Environment Canada has issued the following alert for the Cornwall Area.
Cornwall Electric is currently preparing for a severe weather event triggered by freezing rain. These conditions can lead to outages due to ice build-up and/or downed trees. Never approach downed wires as they may still be energized. Please continue to monitor for changing conditions when making travel plans.
