Unplanned Power Outage - Dec 31-2019 @ 11:15 am

We are currently experiencing an unplanned power outage affecting approximately 610 customers.

Crews have been dispatch and are currently working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

Estimated time for restoration for Glen Rd, Street Rd and Glendale Subdivision – App. ½ hour.

Estimated time for restoration for South Branch (East of Headline), Kinloch, Glen Falloch and Summerstown Station Rd – App 2 hours.

Potential ice storm threatens Eastern Ontario

Monday, December 30, 2019

Cornwall Electric is prepared to respond to the significant ice storm, heavy snow and high winds threatening most of Ontario. Freezing rain or ice pellets will change to snow this afternoon. Ice accumulation on lines, electrical equipment and fallen tree limbs may cause damage resulting in power outages.

We have been tracking the incoming storm and have crews and equipment ready to respond as quickly and safely as possible.
