Warning/Caution
We all rely on electricity daily and there’s no better demonstration of this than when we experience a power outage. When electricity is unavailable, we quickly turn to alternatives for cooking, heating and lighting. These alternatives can be dangerous if proper precautions are not taken. It is also important to have and test back-up battery-powered fire and carbon monoxide detectors, and have at least one telephone that works (not cordless) during a power failure.
Take time to download and review the Fire Safety Notice. Be aware of the dangers and precautions to keep everyone safe during a power outage.
