Important notice to Cornwall Electric residential customers

Ontario Energy Board (“OEB”) directive:  Power will be restored at no charge to those residential customers currently disconnected for non-payment, for the period through April 30, 2017.  Additionally, load limiters will also be removed at no charge to those customers affected.  For those customers to be reconnected, we require a signed copy of the reconnection waiver.  A copy of the waiver is available for download here.
Cornwall Electric is committed to providing affected customers with a timely response to this directive.  Details of the full OEB decision and order can be found here.

Unplanned Power Outage

Update 1:20pm - Power has now been fully restored. Cornwall Eletcric would like to thank it's customers for their patience and understanding during this unplanned power outage.

Update 1:07pm - A number of repairs have been completed. The outage is now affecting approximately 1000 customers. Crews are continuing to work on completing the restoration. Estimated time for restoration is approximately 2:00pm.

Update 12:50pm -  We are experiencing an unplanned power outage affecting approximately 3000 customers in the downtown core. Crews have been dispatched and are on site working on repairing the issue. We will update you with a time for restoration as soon as it becomes available.
