2003 Aug 25	On Friday August 22nd at 8:00 pm the Ontario Government and the Independent Market Operator (IMO) officially declared an end to the Ontario Power Emergency which had started on August 14th with the 2003 Blackout. FortisOntario would like to thank all its customers for helping to conserve energy during the aftermath of the outage . We encourage everyone to practice energy conservation at any time of the year.
